What Gong is, in its own words
Gong's site calls it the "#1 AI OS for Revenue Teams" and says it helps teams "capture every interaction, analyze what's working, and automate what happens next." Its product line includes Gong Engage for sales engagement, Gong Forecast for revenue forecasting, Gong Enable for revenue enablement, and Gong Agents for automated workflows, all built on what it calls the Revenue Graph.
Gong Enable, per its site, includes an AI Trainer for role play scenarios, an AI Coach, an AI Call Reviewer for automated scoring, lessons and initiative tracking. Gong emphasizes training "grounded in our own customer conversations," meaning your enablement team builds programs from your calls. The audience it names is revenue leaders, RevOps, reps, customer success and enablement teams.
What Revenue OS is
Revenue OS is built for the owner of the sales team, not for a RevOps department. It runs one loop: learn, practice, implement, refine. The Sales Academy ships Jordan's method as a 90-day plan, 7 courses and 140 lessons, each ending in a quiz, with one 20-minute task per rep per weekday.
Customer AI & Role Play gives reps an AI customer that pushes back, in text or live voice, and scores each recorded role play on five criteria in about 60 seconds. Intel Suite records and scores every real call, field, floor or Zoom, against six method dimensions plus your own process steps. Everything feeds the Compliance Score, which recalculates nightly and shows the rep the same number it shows you.
Revenue OS vs Gong, side by side
The table below compares the two on neutral dimensions. Every Gong cell comes from Gong's public site as of October 2026. Where we could not confirm something on their site, we wrote "Not a core feature" rather than claiming Gong cannot do it. Check with Gong directly for anything that matters to your decision.
Where Gong is the better fit
Choose Gong if you run a larger B2B revenue organization and want one vendor for conversation data, forecasting, sales engagement and enablement. If you have RevOps and enablement staff who will build training programs from your own calls, Gong gives them tools for that. If forecast accuracy across a big pipeline is a top problem, Gong Forecast addresses it and Revenue OS does not.
Gong also lists many industries in its customer base, from technology to manufacturing, and integrations aimed at large revenue stacks. Revenue OS does not try to be a forecasting or sales engagement platform.
Where Revenue OS is the better fit
Choose Revenue OS if you own or run a team of 5 to 100 reps, you do not have an enablement department, and your problem is that reps do not run the process. Revenue OS ships the training content, so there is a baseline on day one. It makes reps practice before the call, scores the real call against your playbook by name, and turns all of it into one score per rep.
It also fits sales that happen away from a desk. Intel Suite takes a call the rep records on a phone in a driveway, a showroom floor conversation, or a Zoom demo, in one pipeline. Our customers include roofing, plumbing, HVAC, auto dealers, insurance and inside sales teams.
Can you run both?
Some teams will. A company that already records everything in Gong may still want a training and practice loop for reps who are not yet running the method. The question to ask is whether your managers will actually use two systems. For most owner-led teams, one loop that trains, practices, scores and enforces is easier to keep running than a platform plus a separate training program.

Questions owners ask
Is Revenue OS a Gong competitor?⌄
Partly. Both score calls and both offer AI role play. Gong is a wider revenue platform with forecasting and engagement. Revenue OS focuses on training, practice, scoring and accountability for owner-led teams.
Revenue OS vs Gong: which is better for a small team?⌄
For an owner-led team of 5 to 100 reps without an enablement department, Revenue OS usually fits better because it ships the training content and one accountability score. Larger B2B teams that need forecasting often fit Gong better.
Does Gong have AI role play?⌄
Yes. Gong's site lists an AI Trainer inside Gong Enable for role play scenarios built from your own customer conversations.
Does Revenue OS do revenue forecasting like Gong?⌄
No. Forecasting is not a core feature of Revenue OS. It focuses on what reps learn, practice and say on the call.
Can Revenue OS score in-home sales calls?⌄
Yes. With Intel Suite the rep records the in-home call on their phone, with no hardware or dialer, and it is scored against the method and your process the same day.
Your best month ever, and the plan to beat it.
